​The Chesapeake Bay Division-IAI is proud to announce their 2023 Educational Seminar as sponsored by CSIpix! This one day virtual event will take place on March 31st and will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. Delta Forensics is offering several training courses through the Delta Forensics Virtual Academy. Courses are approved by the IAI Latent Print, Crime Scene, and Tenprint Certification Boards for various levels of certification. All courses are fully online and on-demand. Delta Forensics Comprehensive Latent Print Examiner Training Program ($2,000 - custom payment plans available)
This program is designed to instruct the examiner with the knowledge, skills, and ability to conduct independent latent print examination casework. The program is to be completed at the pace of the participant. It is expected that the program may take 6-12 months to complete, but may be shorter or longer, based upon the abilities of the participant. This modular program is divided into 10 parts, increasing in complexity. Modules include: Biology, History, Pattern Types, Latent Print Processing, Photography, Digital Imaging, Comparison Methods, Legal Issues, Admissibility, and more.
The program requires the participant to successfully complete: Required Readings, Written Exercises, Practical Components, Comparison Exercises, Competency Tests and Moot Court exercises. Delta Forensics Webinar Series ($100)
Delta Forensics, LLC offers 3 webinar series training programs, consisting of recorded lectures. These webinars are designed to further develop the knowledge and qualifications of the participant. Ideal for students, latent examiners, and crime scene investigators. Additional Information may be found online at:

  1. Introduction to Latent Prints (15 Hours), IAI approved towards initial CLPE certification.
  2. Latent Print Photography (15 Hours), IAI approved towards initial CLPE certification and re-certification
  3. Crime Scene Latents (16 Hours)

Delta Forensics Basic Latent Print Processing ($200)
Delta Forensics offers an Online Basic Latent Print Processing Training Program. This program is designed to help you learn the sequential examination techniques used to process crime scenes and evidence for the presence of latent impressions. Through this program, you will be instructed through recorded lectures regarding processing techniques and collection, readings, and written exercises to gauge your knowledge as presented through the programs. This program is approved by the IAI CLPE board for 15 hours towards initial and re-certification as a certified latent print examiner. Delta Forensics CLPE Prep Class ($125)
Delta Forensics offers a fully online CLPE Prep Class designed to assist you prepare for the IAI Certified Latent Print Examiner Certification Exam. This program included a number of recorded lectures to help prepare you for the written portion of the exam, along with practical exercises and comparison sets to help improve your efficiency for the practical component of the examination. Delta Forensics Basic Tenprint Examination ($100)
Delta Forensics offers an online Basic Tenprint Examination course, which includes 8 hours of recorded lectures, supplemental reading, and comparison practical exercises.
