Conference Registration ends Friday, September 19, 2025 at 8:00 PM CDT!

To register for the MNIAI Educational Conference please select your desired registration option below.  Please complete all required fields on the form and click "Register and Pay". You will be directed to PayPal to complete your online payment. BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD HANDY.

SPECIAL NOTE: THE FIRST 50 CONFERENCE REGISTRANTS WILL RECIEVE A FREE MNIAI POLO SHIRT. THESE WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL WITH SIZE AND COLOR CHOICES AVAILABLE FROM OUR INVENTORY. SHIRTS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED AT THE CONFERENCE. MNIAI BOARD OF DIRECTORS ARE EXEMPT.
 General information:
  • ​All classes and events held at Breezy Point Resort: 9252 Breezy Point Drive, Breezy Point, MN 56472 - Phone: 218-562-7970. We will be on the second floor of the Meeting and Convention Center Building; Whitebirch Conference rooms.
  • Wednesday, September 24 registration begins at 10:00 AM and classes start at 12:30 PM.
  • Conference concludes on Friday, September 26 at 11:15 AM.
  • President's Reception will take place Wednesday evening beginning at 6:30 in the Governor's House.
  • General Membership Business Meeting and Election of Officers takes place Thursday evening.
  • Full Registrations, Life Active Member Full Registrations, Full Conference Student Registrations and Single-Day Student Registrations (if attending on Thursday) include Thursday night's banquet in the registration fee.
  • If registering more than one person from your agency, registrations must be completed separately to ensure each person is accurately registered and to get a head count for the banquet. Please be sure to enter the registrant's email address, and nobody else's. 
  • Registrations will not be valid unless all required fields are completed, and payment is made.

  • MN POST Credits are pending. We will request 14 credits. The Course Number should be 09027-00031.

SLEEPING ROOMS are located in the Breezy Inn
ROOM RATES:
  • Double Queen: $218.50 plus 7.375% tax
  • King Leisure: $218.50 plus 7.375% tax
  • King Executive Suite: $250.70 plus 7.375% tax
Rates are per person, per night, and include lodging, buffet breakfast and Thursday buffet lunch for all guests. Guaranteed check-in time is 5:00 PM. If the room is ready, guests can check in early. Check-out time is 12:00PM. The cost of one-night's lodging (plus tax) is required as a deposit when making your reservation. Major credit and debit cards are accepted. These rates apply Sunday-Friday of the week of the Conference. ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE TO BOOK NOW! The payment method used when reserving a room is the method Breezy Point will use at check-out.

Online reservations are MANDATORY. Go to https://breezypointresort.com/. Click 'Online Reservations' then select the arrival date, number of nights and number of adults. Enter Group ID 460574. This Group ID must be used when making your reservation and should book your room at The Breezy Inn. Click check now, select the room and proceed with the reservation.
If reserving more than one room, guests should make two separate reservations. Guests can add special notes and requests when making their reservations, including requests for rooms to be next to each other or connecting. Only King Executive Suites and Double Queen rooms connect to each other.

Special rates EXPIRE on August 24, 2025 - SORRY, NO EXCEPTIONS ALLOWED!

All guests will be asked to present a major credit card at the time of check-in and only one method of payment is accepted per room.

Guests arriving late or departing early by one or more days will be charged the full rate for the entire length of their reserved stay. There are limited exceptions to this policy. Refunds are at the discretion of the resort.

  • ​​Buffet breakfast is served Thursday and Friday mornings between 7:00-10:00 in the Marina II restaurant located in the Breezy Center building. Breakfast meal tickets will be provided by Breezy Point Resort. Thursday's buffet lunch location is in the Whitebirch II conference room.
  • Breezy Point has a complimentary shuttle service to all resort owned properties and it runs every day 7:00 AM-Bar Close: 218-562-7147. Call 10-15 minutes before the shuttle is needed. This can also be used to get to the following restaurants for dinner on Wednesday:
RESORT RESTAURANTS
In addition to Dockside, Antler’s, Palmer’s and The North Star; *Marina II will be open for dinner on Wednesday night. Marina II
will not be open to the public for lunch on Thursday, as we have the restaurant reserved for our Conference attendees.
 
Please make reservations for your Wednesday dinner, as appropriate, so that Breezy Point can accommodate our numbers.

  • Antler’s (218-562-7162) and Palmer’s (218-562-6270) have the option to make both lunch and dinner reservations
  • *Marina II is open for dinner reservations only (218-562-7161)
  • Dockside and North Star are walk in only-NO RESERVATIONS TAKEN
  • The Coffee House is not recommended for meals
 
Guests can drive to these restaurants OR take the resort shuttle. To request the resort shuttle, call 218-562-7147 (10-15 minutes before you need it).the option to make both lunch and dinner reservations.

Consider joining the MNIAI at the Conference, if you are not already a member. If your application is completed and submitted to the Secretary/Treasurer before the General Membership Meeting on the Thursday of the Conference, it will be reviewed by the Board during the meeting. Once accepted, the individual is made a member of the Division. Application fees are waived and so are dues for the first full year of membership. That's a $60.00 savings! Ask the Secretary/Treasurer for an application, if one isn't included in your Conference folder.​

    Students must submit a letter from their advisor or instructor written on university letterhead stating their enrollment in the forensic or criminal justice fields. This letter must be submitted to the MNIAI Secretary/Treasurer via email by clicking here. PDF and MS Word documents are accepted.
